Google Security And Privacy

In order to access Google's applications and information you are required by Google to login using your Google account login. Most of us are used to doing it so often that we hardly think about it or we have opted to allow Google to automatically remember our login and who we are.

Your privacy, security and Contactosaurus

Contactosaurus allows you to access your Google contact information so for your security it requires the same Google account information you would provide if you were using a web browser.

Most Secure: Don't Remember my Google Account

When this box is unchecked, Contactosaurus does not remember or keep ANY of your Google account information. You will provide the account information every time you run the program. Use this option if the program is running on a public computer or if there is a risk of losing control of your computer.

Reasonably Secure: Remember my Google account

When you check Remember my Google account Contactosaurus does pretty much the same thing your web browser does - it keeps a copy of your account email and password on your PC. If your computer is reasonably secure then the risk is smaller than if you are using a public computer or a laptop that might be stolen.

The advantage is that you do not have to enter your Google account information each time you use the program.

Reset

The Reset button on the Google account login form removes your account information from your PC.
