How The Sales Data Center Works: Desktop Sales Manager normally stores a collection of sales opportunity information on a personal computer in a file called a sales pipeline. With Desktop Sales Manager Version 6, a sales pipeline can also be stored in an Internet accessible database. That Internet database is called the Sales Data Center. The Sales Data Center is operated, maintained and supported by Software On Sailboats and accessed by clients who use Desktop Sales Manager through a monthly subscription fee.
