Templates can be copied onto the Pocket PC and you may choose a template to use with the Pocket Sales Manger.
A template is a faceplate that customizes the groups, labels, and types of fields used. Select Tools -> Template to select a template.
Care must be exercised when changing templates. Templates guide the Pocket Sales Manager in deciding where to put information in a sales Opportunity. For example, one template might instruct the Pocket Sales Manager to put 'Product' information in the fifth field of an Opportunity. A different template could use the fifth field of an Opportunity for 'Probability' information. If Opportunities in the second Pipeline were opened while using the first template information would be lost or confusing.
You may create your own custom templates on a Windows personal computer using the Template Manager. The template files (.sos) may be copied onto your Pocket PC and used with the Pocket Sales Manager.
