Gain insight into the Navigator:
The main screen Navigator provides a helpful tool for viewing and understanding your sales Pipeline. Open an example Pipeline and select any choice from the Navigator list, and notice the change in the organization of the treeview in the display.

Track your first sales Opportunity:
Select one of the open sales Pipelines and add a new sales Opportunity by pressing the New button on the toolbar. Enter the Description as a "New Sales Opportunity" and press the OK button. You may also wish to try adapting the PSM to your industry by using one of the industry specific sales templates from the website www.softwareonsailboats.com. You may also create your own template with the Template Manager product that is part of the Sales Manager suite.
Make a change to one of the Information fields:
Click on a Sales Opportunity that you have already entered and then expand the Identification Group. Select one of the data elemnts and make a change to it when the appropriate change control appears. Save the change, and see your change reflected back when you return to the Pipeline treeview display.
