There are a fairly large number of screens that form the PSM product, but all are driven from the main display screen which looks like this:
This basic Pipeline display screen has three main elements which we will describe in some detail:
The Navigator
This drop down list specifies the primary selection sequence for the grouping of the main Opportunity Treeview display. Clicking on this area of the screen will allow you to select any of the Opportunity fields as the grouping.
The Revenue Total (the 'Totalizer')
This button has a number of uses.
1) When the set of opportunities is initially displayed, it will contain the revenue total for the entire Pipeline.
2) When an individual Opportunity has been selected, it will contain the revenue for that particular Opportunity.
3) It also acts as a 'recalculate' button when clicked. It will then cause the application to recalculate the complete Pipeline revenue total, taking into account any field changes that may have been made in the time since the Pipeline was loaded.
The Opportunity Treeview
The main screen of the application. This will display all the opportunities within the Pipeline, and will allow viewing and editing of all the fields in each of the opportunities. Clicking on the + symbols alongside an Opportunity node, or alongside a group node will expand that node. Conversely, clicking on a - symbol will contract that particular node.
