One of the major additions to version 5 of the PSM was increasing the functional interface to the Microsoft Pocket Outlook information and services. We achieved this in three different ways
Task Entry - Allows the user to enter an Outlook task without leaving the PSM application, and automatically build Opportunity information into the Notes section of the Task.
Appointment Entry - Allows the user to enter an Outlook appointment without leaving the PSM application, and automatically build Opportunity information into the Notes section of the Appointment.
Contact Information - We have significantly simplified this interface while at the same time making it more powerful and flexible, to allow 'mapping' of information automatically from Outlook Contact data to corresponding Opportunity data with just simple clicks.
Task and Appointment entry are reached through the Tap & Holdcapability of the application.
