The Navigator is located in the top left area of the home page. It is an extremely powerful feature of the Pocket Sales Manager and is used to organize,group and sort your sales Opportunities. It groups together all of the Opportunities that have the same information in a particular field. For example, in the Sample Pipeline, you could group together all the Opportunities that have the same probability by selecting 'Probability' in the Navigator. All of the sales Opportunities that have a "25% - Long Shot" probability will be grouped together, those Opportunities with "50% - Competitive" will be grouped together, etc.
The Navigator can be used to collect together under any of the 20 different information fields in the Opportunity, and a number of other information fieldsprovided by the PSM application:
Status may be set by using the Tap & Hold capability
Revenue (by multiplying quantity * price * percentage discount )
Weighted Revenue (by multiplying revenue by the percentage probability of the deal closing)

Let's look at a couple of examples.
By default, when you open up a pipeline, the Opportunities appear in alphabetical order, grouped by field 1 (Opportunity Name) of the Opportunity as shown below.
If we now use the Navigator to select to group, and display, the Opportunities by Probability instead, this is how the pipeline would now appear on the display:
and opening each of the Probability 'groups' would show us those Opportunities that fit within each:
The Navigator on the Pocket Sales Manager is a powerful sorting mechanism for any of the 20 Opportunity fields, and the seven additional fields added by the system. On the Desktop Sales Manager, the user has up to 55 different sort groupings/sequences available for the Pipeline.
