A full screen Text Editor is available when editing any text field in a sales opportunity. Each text field and the Journal field can hold up to 32,767 characters. The full screen Text Editor provides the larger screen area and scrolling that makes editing easier when a field holds a lot of information.

The text editor offers a Date/Time-Stamp button that will insert the current date and time at the top of your notes.

You may drag-and-drop text information from other applications into the text area of the Text Editor

You may cut-and-paste information into the Text Editor by right clicking in the text area.

Calling the Text Editor

The text editor is used by the Edit Opportunity form. It can be invoked by right clicking on any text field in the Edit Opportunity form.

The Text Editor may also be invoked for editing the Journals in the Edit Opportunity form by using the Full Screen Editor button on the Journal tab.
