Selecting items in the Category Area changes the items displayed in the List Area.
Selecting a Category
Selecting a Category will display all the unfiltered items in your sales pipeline.
Selecting a Category Group
Selecting a Category Group will cause all the child items within that group to be displayed in the list area.
Selecting a sales opportunity
Selecting a sales opportunity will cause all the items within the parent Category Group group to be displayed in the list area.
How Fitering impacts the Category and List Areas
Items that are not displayed because they have been filtered are never displayed in the Category Area or List Area. Filtered items are not removed from the sales pipline. They are in the pipeline, but filtering blocks them from being displayed. Removing or changing the filter can 'bring them back'.
