Saving a sales pipline to the mailbox

The following example assumes you are a sales executive for Rhythm and Blues Services - a mythical professional services company that provides equipment and services to the professional touring musician. The example pipeline is based upon the Standard template, and uses either the Eastern Area or Western Area example pipelines that were installed with this program.

In this example, you are a sales rep for the Western Area of Rhythm and Blues Services who need to save a sales pipeline to their mailbox. In the previous examples, the sales manager for Rhythm and Blues Services created a post office, set up and organized the mailboxes, and then notified each mailbox owner with the information about their mailbox in an automatically generated email:

Saving a sales pipeline to your mailbox

In Desktop Sales Manager with a sales pipeline open, select FILE --> SAVE PIPELINE TO --> MAILBOX and the "Save To Mailbox..." form is displayed. The first time you try this you will need to enter a post office name and mailbox number.

You may give this pipeline a name, and also enter some comments. Hit the "Save" button to upload the pipeline to your mailbox in the post office.
