Ribbon Menu

The ribbon menu is an Office 2006 style console to control Desktop Sales Manager.

File Menu

The File menu is easily overlooked, but offers the functionality typically associated with a program's traditional File menu: New, Delete, Exit, etc.

Area

Inside of each tab, related menu choices are collected in an area. For example, menu choices about the Data Center are located in a grouping call "Data Center".

Area Dialog Button

This new feature of the Office 2006 style interface displays a editing form for the area. For example, in the area 'Categories' pressing the Area Dialog button displays the form that allows full editing and control of all Categories.

Drop Down Buttons

Many of the buttons displayed in the ribbon menu are actually a list of drop down buttons. The small (VERY SMALL) down arrow on a button indicates there is a list of additional choices.

Some drop down buttons have a dual purpose. Pressing the button itself can cause an action...while pressing the down arrow will display the list of 'sub' buttons. For example, pressing the 'Select' button in the Category area displays the form that allows full selection of categories. Pressing the down arrow portion of the button displays additional buttons....
