Rating

The Rating of a sales opportunity is the Primary Analysis of whether or not the sales opportunity is worth pursuing. Is this deal worth your time? Is the customer likely to reach a decision and take action? The Rating is set through a meter is shown on the front of the Opportunity Edit form. A color summary of each opportunity is shown in the left edge of the list area of a pipeline window.

Rating Judgements

The Rating is based upon 5 judgements. Judgements are controlled by the template you are using and so may vary. The judgements for the Business-To-Business template are:

Judgement	Description
Location	Is the location where the decision is going to be made favorable to us?
Financial Condition	Is the overall financial condition of this organization good?
Funding	Is there funding earmarked for the project and for the goods and services that we provide?
Timeframe	Has the client established a timeframe for this decision?
Compelling Reason	Is there a compelling reason that is motivating this client to move forward? Are there consequences if they do not move forward?
