Some mobile sales professionals use a Pocket PC and Pocket Sales Manager to track and manage their sales when on the road. Desktop Sales Manager uses the same sales pipeline files as Pocket Sales Manager so information can easily be shared between Pocket Sales Manager and Desktop Sales Manager.
Combine or Open?
Remember - the Pipelines --> Combine function merges two pipelines together and keeps the latest copy of each sales opportunity and discards any previous versions. If you have a copy of your sales pipeline on your Pocket PC and another on your personal computer - and have made changes in each - then you will want to Combine the two pipelines to create a sales pipeline with the latest version of each sales opportunity.
