Notify Mailbox Owners

One very practical problem with managing and administering a post office is communication of the mailbox details with mailbox owners.

The Data Center Manager will automatically generate email to help you communicate with mailbox owners. This is most helpful when setting up or changing a new mailbox or a list of mailboxes. You can easily email the essential details that a mailbox owner will need to connect to their mailbox. You have the opportunity to add some information to the email that is about to be sent, as well as control over including the mailbox information (box number, password, and post office name).

Tell one or tell them all

You may also choose to notify all mailbox owners with a single action - the "Send an email to all mailbox owners.." button. For example, you may have set up a whole new list of mailboxes and need to notify each mailbox owner of their box number, password, etc.

If the "Add mailbox information..." box is checked, then an private email is sent to each mailbox owner that includes their mailbox information (as in the example above). By automatically sending an individual email to each mailbox owner, one mailbox owner does not learn the password of another mailbox owner.

If the "Add mailbox information" check is NOT marked, then a group email is sent. This can be a handy way of sending out a sales reminder like "Be sure to have your sales pipelines updated and submitted by Friday".
