Mailbox Manager

The mailbox manager lets you manage sales piplines that are in your mailbox. It can help you select pipelines or delete pipelines. You will see the mailbox manager in the Data Center Manager, when opening sales pipelines (FILE --> OPEN PIPELINE FROM --> MAILBOX) and saving sales pipelines (FILE --> SAVE PIPELINE TO --> MAILBOX).

Selecting sales pipelines in the mailbox

You can individually select any pipline in you mailbox by choosing the checkbox next to the file name.

Seleting the newest or oldest pipelines

You may select the newest or oldest pipline without having to carefully scan the dates of each pipeline. These buttons will simply select the pipeline with the newest or oldest date. Only one pipeline is selected - either the newest or the oldest.

Selecting the newest or oldest version

You may select the newest or oldest versions of each pipeline in your mailbox. Each sales pipeline has a unique identifier in it so that if several versions of the pipeline are stored in the mailbox the Sales Data Center understands which pipelines are related - that they are versions of the same pipeline. Selecting the oldest versions of the piplines in this mailbox selects two pipelines (see below). In parent mailboxes this techique of seleting the latest pipelines in each mailbox is the key to easily creating a sales forecast that is built upon the latest versions of pipelines stored in each child mailbox.

Parent mailboxes

If you are a sales manager that has mailboxes assigned to your mailbox, you will be able to see all of the information in each of the "sub" mailboxes.
In the example below, the North America mailbox owner (mailbox 2) could see the contents of mailboxes 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9. The Worldwide Sales manager (mailbox 1) could see the contents of ALL mailboxes.

Deleting Pipelines

You can delete any checked pipelines in your mailbox by choosing the "Deleted the selected pipelines"
