Desktop Sales Manager has been developed primarily for the English language, and to a lesser degree for the US market. Documentation and many of the messages and information built into the program are in English (well, American English that is). The program can be adapted to some degree to non-US countries, and therefore may be of value to sales professionals in non-US countries who read English.

Templates

The Opportunity Edit field labels can have non-English words by creating a template with the Template Manager.

International Currency Format

Note in the example above that the currency format is sensitive to the region. The example shown is French (Switzerland).

No currency conversions are performed when sales pipelines are combined. So if two pipelines are based upon different currencies, no attempt is made to change the currency values in either pipeline.

International Dates

The date format is also sensitive to the region.

The data field that has the property Address will be extrapolated into as many as six address fields. This process currently recognizes
