Filtering allows you to focus on a subset of your sales opportunities by hiding some of them from display. Filtered sales opportunities are not removed or deleted - they are just hidden from view.

You can filter sales opportunities by a range of dates, by sales status, or by a word or phrase in any of the fields. For example you could show all sales opportunities with an order date within the next 30 days that have a sales status of "Engaged" and also have "Austin" in the address field.

There is a filter icon located at the lower left corner of the main form that displays the status of the filters in use.

The displayed opportunity count at the bottom of the form might show "42 of 150" to indicate that 42 of the total of 150 opportunities in the pipeline are displayed. Filters are applied to all open pipelines so the totals at the bottom of the form show the filtered and total count for the current pipeline and for all open pipelines.

The current filter is saved when exiting the program and restored when the program begins.
