The marketing group at Rhythm and Blues Services has created a sales pipeline containing leads for the Western Area from a recent Music Association trade show . At the show, visitors to the Rhythm and Blues booth learned of a special offer for $5,000 equipment cases for sound mixers. Business cards were collected from interested parties and have been entered into a pipeline called Music Association Leads - West.xml as sales opportunities. The sales pipeline has been emailed to Ray Charles - Area Sales Executive for the Western Area.
Ray Charles has an email in his Outlook Inbox from the marketing department at Rhythm and Blues Services that contains leads from the Music Association trade show. He would like to combine those leads with his currently open pipeline Western Area.xml
Combine From Outlook
Ray chooses the Combine button from the Pipelines tab.
The Combine Sales Pipelines form allows Ray to build a list of sales pipelines that he would like to add together, and give him some options on how they will be combined. In the form below, Ray chooses the Outlook option from "Add Pipelines From" , and then selects the Add button.
Ray selects his Microsoft Outlook Inbox folder on the left side of the form, then selects the email from J. L Hooker called "New Leads - Music Association" by checking the box next to it, and presses the Open button at the bottom of the form. If Ray had other sales pipelines in his Inbox that he wanted to also combine, he could have selected more than one email attachment by checking other items in the list.
Ray has now added one sales pipeline to the list of pipelines that he would like to combine with his current pipeline. Since that is all he wants to combine, he selects the Add button to combine the pipelines in his list with his current sales pipeline.
